The Fat Buddha opened in November 2015. It has already gained a fantastic reputation for Indian food in Hertfordshire, resulting in us accumulating a numerous number of curry awards.
Unlike many other Indian restaurants, The Fat Buddha provides an adventurous mix of creative and modern dishes to compliment our vast wine list.
Why not try our new summer alfresco dining area out the front of our restaurant? It is ideal for summer dining or just a relaxing drink with some friends. Whether you desire a hearty Indian traditional dish or fancy treating yourself to something a little different, The Fat Buddha is the restaurant for you.

The food is amazing and they have a much larger variety of dishes. Service is also fantastic! Have been several times and have never had a bad meal. Take away service is also great.
Excellent service, quality of food exceptional
A Birthday meal for my son, his girlfriend and I. A Tuesday evening so it was quiet. The entrance to the restaurant instantly spells class, and the first part of the restaurant is a classy bar area with high stools and a good selection of wines, spirits etc. The next part of the restaurant is as equally stylish.
Being vegetarian it's not also easy to find tasty curry that's not dominated by cabbage! But this restaurant was superb. Each dish we had tasted different and contained a good variety of perfectly cooked vegetables. The service is excellent and the decor and ambience lovely.
At The Fat Buddha we always strive to give our customers the best dining experience we can. We hope you have had a fantastic time at one of our restaurants and we value your feedback.
